// definition
Network connection cost allowance
Eligible connection costs recovered through network tariffs
Short definition
A mechanism under which network tariffs cover part of eligible connection costs, with the applicant paying the remaining contribution. For consumption facilities connected at the French high-voltage HTB level, the order of 30 November 2017 sets the allowance at 30%. The calculation requires the relevant asset scope, distinct from a whole-project budget and from the net effect on customers’ bills.
