Minimum viable operations
Short definition
The lowest operational capability that, in NCSC guidance, allows an organisation to operate safely, meet its legal and regulatory obligations and maintain the trust of customers, partners and staff. During recovery from a cyberattack, this priority helps identify the functions and dependencies to restore. It is a recovery milestone whose scope depends on the organisation.
