European Production Order Certificate
Short definition
The certificate used to transmit a European Production Order for electronic evidence to the addressee under Regulation (EU) 2023/1543. It contains information identifying the request and competent authorities. Receipt starts the Article 10 deadlines, with different branches for notification and emergencies. Production concerns data held by or for a provider. Recital 20 specifies that the regulation introduces no duty to decrypt those data.
