Tropical Forest Forever Facility

Short definition
A facility intended to reward tropical forest conservation. A separate investment fund, TFIF, would invest capital and transfer distributable resources to it. The charter adopted on 22 July 2026 makes forest payments conditional on available resources and reserves at least 20% of each country’s allocation for Indigenous Peoples and local communities.
