Ratio of total data-centre energy to IT equipment energy, measured over the same period and boundary. A PUE of 1.30 means 0.30 units for infrastructure per unit consumed by IT. It measures site infrastructure, not algorithm efficiency, server utilisation or revenue from recovered heat.
