Unassisted assessment
Assessing learning after the tool is withdrawn
Short definition
A test taken without the tool used during learning, to observe the answers a person can produce independently. Its scope depends on the tasks and the delay before testing. An immediate quiz assesses learning in that setting; longer-term retention and performance on substantially different tasks require separate assessments.
